Regarding Playground

The ink drawing series, Regarding Playground, skeptically examines the playground’s potential as a prescriptive design for self-reliance. The drawings use perspectives that range from the authority of the aerial bird’s-eye-view to the more subjective or biased frontal view and speculate upon the promise of playgrounds as sites of exploration, or even fantasy, which are designed to prepare children for navigating life’s rough terrains.
